Today marks the 12th anniversary of the death of R&B singer Aaliyah Dana Haughton. If you don’t know by now her life was tragically cut short in a plane crash after shooting her new video “Rock The Boat” in the Bahamas (August 25,2001). She was only 22 years old. She had so much to accomplish so much talent that she hadn’t yet shared with the world as the women she had become. Aaliyah was about to take off in her career. I believe the world is still saddened because we never got the chance to see it. She was Some one so humble, with the sweetest soul you could ever imagine. She was truly a angel on earth, that’s now spread her wings with god. Rest Easy Aaliyah.
